Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2025 with great enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The event began with students taking the National Unity Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to integrity, harmony, and nation-building.
As part of the celebrations, students actively participated in a vibrant Unity Run, symbolising solidarity and the spirit of togetherness across the campus.
In connection with Vigilance Awareness Week, MGIT organised an Awareness Rally to promote the values of honesty, transparency, and anti-corruption practices. Students carried banners and raised impactful slogans, spreading a strong message on responsible citizenship and ethical conduct.
Principal Prof. G. Chandramohan Reddy addressed the gathering and highlighted Sardar Patel’s monumental contribution to national integration. He encouraged students to adopt ethical values in their personal and professional lives.
The event inspired the MGIT community to uphold unity, integrity, and vigilance, contributing towards a corruption-free and united nation.
